THE CLIENT

Øst for Paradis is an art cinema in the Danish city of Aarhus mainly focusing on the 40+ audience or very specialised film enthusiasts

THE BRIEF

Aarhus is a university city and there already is an interest in film among the younger audience. Øst for Paradis wants to attract this group of people. 

THE IDEA

By creating a series of one-day festivals with a thematic expression we'll generate a community that revolves around the joy of films, events, bar life and music. In that way we've moved away from the traditional cinema experience and become an event you just don't want to miss.

The concept revolves around curiosity, and the campaign should catch people's attention and show that this is not just a showing of a movie, but a full on experiences.

With a series of installations throughout the city Cino invites people to experience and participates in the movies, while at the same time generating activity on social media.

 
 

APP

The app let's the festival live on and becomes a place where people can receive film news, discuss and review movies. It also links to Instagram with it's own filter and let's you generate film lists in the form of small videos.
